About The Founder & Owner of BBDV
Ms. Ricardi serves as founder, owner, and CEO of BBDV and is responsible for all management decisions and quality of work performed by BBDV. Ms. Ricardi has over 35 years of environmental chemistry experience with a focus on chemistry support for hazardous waste remedial investigations and remedial designs.
Ms. Ricardi’s professional background includes over 25 years of project chemistry and data validation for state and federal programs, 8 years as quality assurance manager of an environmental laboratory, and 4 years as an analytical chemist for an environmental laboratory.
Career Summary
Having previously served as program chemist or program quality assurance manager for a variety of state and federal programs while employed with a multinational environmental engineering firm, Ms. Ricardi has extensive experience evaluating analytical chemistry data quality and writing data quality assessment reports to support remedial investigations for emerging contaminants per- and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) and 1,4-dioxane, as well as dioxins, furans, and other environmental analytical data.
Ms. Ricardi’s consulting engineering background, in addition to previous experience as quality assurance manager for an environmental analytical laboratory and consultant for a national environmental laboratory, has provided her with broad knowledge and experience in the areas of coordination, execution, and oversight of analytical chemistry support tasks, including estimating level of effort and scheduling chemistry data validation to meet project due dates and budgets, evaluating analytical chemistry data quality and writing data quality assessment reports, writing and reviewing project quality assurance plans, performing senior peer reviews of data quality assessment reports, and training and mentoring data validation staff.
